The Review of Network Economics

Vol 6, Issue 3 - September 2007

Editors' foreword

The current issue of the Review of Network Economics is a special issue on "Dynamics, Efficiency and Network Industries" that addresses issues related to the dynamics of firm behavior and efficiency in network industries. The special issue includes seven papers plus a detailed introduction of each paper by the guest editor Professor Jeffrey Bernstein. We wish to sincerely thank Professor Bernstein for his tremendous effort in putting together this fine issue. The issue should be of considerable interest to a wide cross-section of academics, policymakers and practioners interested in network industries.

We would also like to let our readers and authors know that the Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) will be including the Review of Network Economics in its new journal section in its upcoming December issue. The Review of Network Economics has also been accepted for listing in the AEA electronic indexes, which are included in JEL on CD, e-JEL and EconLit. This means all back issues of the journal will be indexed for this purpose. So in due course you will notice the introduction of JEL codes on all our abstract pages, so papers can be indexed properly through JEL.

Co-editors: John Panzar and Julian Wright
